Sacraments

BAPTISMS:
Usually every Sunday at 1:30 pm. Baptisms are not celebrated in Lent. A preparation program for parents is held on the 2nd Saturday of the month at 10:00 am at the Faith Center. Call the parish office to schedule a baptism.

WEDDINGS:
Parish couples need to speak to one of our priests BEFORE making any other arrangements or reserving a reception hall. Diocesan policy requires a period of at least 6 months prior to the wedding for a couple to complete their necessary preparation and paperwork.  For more details about planning a wedding at St. Michael Church, see
this page.

Saturdays from 8:30 am to 9:15am 4:00pm-4:45pm or by appointment with one of our priests.

ANOINTING OF THE SICK/HOMEBOUND/HOSPITAL VISITS:
Please call the parish office to inform us of an illness or hospitalization of a parishioner or family member. Privacy laws prohibit hospitals from releasing information to clergy about hospitalized church members without the specific consent and request of the patient or their immediate family.

SACRAMENT PREPARATION:
Preparation for CHILDREN to receive First Eucharist or Confirmation is a two year program either through our school or Religious Education Program.

The R.C.I.A. program is offered for ADULTS who have never been baptized or are baptized in another Christian denomination and are interested in becoming Catholic.. A process of updating and formation is also offered for Catholic Adults who have not received First Eucharist and/or Confirmation and would like to prepare for these sacraments. Adult education programs are also offered in Scripture study and other topics of interest. Contact the Adult Formation Director for further information.

NEW MEMBERS:
We warmly welcome new families and individuals to St. Michael Parish. Registration can be done over the phone, at the parish office, or at Newcomer Welcome Sundays scheduled throughout the year.
