Mass at St. Michael
With two daily Masses Monday through Friday and five options to meet the Sunday obligation, Masses at St. Michael fit a variety of schedules. All Masses rely on volunteers to support our priests in celebration of the Mass. We invite you to attend Mass and to consider helping in a variety of roles:
· Hospitality Ministers (Ushers/Greeters) – The face of St. Michael, ushers faithfully greet parishioners as they arrive, guide people to seats, pass out worship aids and bulletins, assist with the offertory, guide the lines for Communion, and other responsibilities. All ages are welcome!
· Ministers of the Word (Lectors) – Lectors proclaim the Word of God during Sunday and weekday Masses. The Parish provides ongoing personal training. New volunteers are always welcome!
· Extraordinary Ministers – These volunteers assist the priests and deacons with the distribution of Communion with solemnity, reverence, and dignity. The Parish provides training.
· Mass Coordinators – Mass Coordinators work behind the scenes to prepare sacred vessels, ensure all the necessary volunteers are in place and ready the Church for Mass. Training is provided as needed.
